Stone Care
Fire opal is a gorgeous stone that needs a little extra care. Because this stone is soft and porous, chemicals like perfume, lotions and makeup can damage the stones so they should be the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. Remember to take off your Fire Opal jewelry when working out, bathing, or doing hard labor. To clean your stones, use a slightly damp microfiber cloth to get rid of dirt, do not use soap or detergent.
