Sometimes gorgeous gemstones need a gentle touch. These stones don’t scratch easily but can break when struck hard, they’re perfect for everyday wear but should be removed before doing any hard labor. Heat, UV light, and harsh chemicals can damage your gemstones, so remove them before doing household chores and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight. Use warm, soapy water and gentle scrubbing occasionally to clean your stones and keep them looking beautiful.

Diamonds, Sapphires, Rubies, and Moissanites are strong enough to withstand almost everything. Other gemstone jewelry should be removed before cleaning or doing any hard labor. To keep your gemstones shining and beautiful, clean them with warm, soapy water and a soft cloth. It is natural for the metal to show signs of scratches over time with wear, to help prevent this it's best to remove any jewelry when working out or doing any hard labor. The color of some gemstones may fade with extensive UV exposure or when exposed to extreme heat. Check out our Care Guide for more information.
